Jane Dickson's untitled print pictures a young woman contemplating the landscape from a hotel window many floors above Times Square. Working with mood and location, the rough, dark aspects of life surface in Dickson's artworks. She utilizes astroturf and sandpaper as ground.

Jane Dickson was active in COLAB. Her awards include a National Endowment for the Arts in Drawing and a Dewars Young Artist Award. Dickson has exhibited paintings nationally and internationally since 1980 and her work appears in over a dozen museum collections including the Whitney Museum, NYC, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, The Chicago Art Institute and The San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art. She is represented by the Marlborough Gallery in New York City.
